Rivertown Bistro: A Classy New American Gem in Conway

Interesting menu with pretty good food. The service was good. The ambiance is nice, sort of pub like. It is called Rivertown bistro but there is no view of the river. We had their Mussel Frites, - very delicious, Fried Oyster salad - also very good, and the Yuzu Miso Glazed Salmon, came with a spring roll - which was tasty. We had enough food to have leftovers for lunch the next day. They also brought us a very yummy herb infused oil and some freshly baked bread (on the house) - that was a nice touch. All in all, I would say this is one of the more interesting places to eat at in Conway.

We had to wait especially long for our appetizer and food. We ordered oysters rock for $17 and assumed it would be a half dozen but it was only 4. They were good pricey for that amount. Hubby got bacon wrapped pork tenderloins and I got the shrimp lobster scallops au gratin. Both were great. We were just disappointed we had to wait so long for our food Was seated around 730 (had reservations) and appetizer didn’t come until around 815

My husband had the pork chop and I had the appetizer chicken tenders. The pork chop was tasty, but just a little undercooked and too fatty. The chicken tenders were huge and delicious.

Went to Rivertown Bistro for my anniversary dinner and the experience was wonderful. We did have a reservation and sat only a couple minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere was lively but also intimate within your party. Food service was quick and the majority of the food itself was good, with amazing daily specials. Drinks were good with a great selection. They also offered us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! For the amount of food and drinks we got, our total was $150, which doesn't seem bad, but it definitely would only be a special occasion outing for me.

We sat at one of the booths by the bar. Absolutely delicious food. Egg roll app and French onion soup both so good, and burgers big and super juicy. Fries with their ranch - chef's kiss as well. And, our server, Chloe, was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable with great recommendations.

We popped in while walking around the neighborhood without checking reviews or the menu. Nice atmosphere. 2 floor seating. Menu has many different options. Yummy drink choices and a wine list. We ordered the beer cheese fondue special, not knowing it was on a big board with sausage, pretzel bread, fruit, and fries! Delicious! The steak burger with the most amazing homemade onion rings (a little shy on the bacon) and the crab cake and scallops over mashed sweet potatoes were so very tasty. Everything was yummy and presented beautifully from the appetizer to the pomegranate margaritas, to the entrees. No room for dessert. Glad we went in on a whim and will definitely go back now that we're moving to the area.

The portion size has become smaller for the price and quality of the food wasn't as good. We eat there on special occasions and have noticed over time. This time, the grilled chicken was cold. It was a take out but they were extremely busy and told would be 45 min and that is what I gave them before arriving. Parking was a nightmare with more walking traffic around the area and no longer parking around corner where green space now is.
